Juvenile Tagging Program

Streamline Guiding is a proud member of the Fraser Valley Angling Guides Association. One of the many rolls the FVAGA does is the Habitat Conversation Trust Fund Juvenile White Sturgeon Monitoring Program. Members of the FVAGA go out and specifically target juvenile sturgeon throughout the Fraser and its tributaries. Through these studies, juvenile sturgeon are caught, tagged, recorded, all while using safe and proper handling techniques. This program is crucial to understanding the health of the Fraser River sturgeon fishery population, and reproduction rates. Us at Streamline Guiding couldn’t be happier to be a part of it.
